Illustrations addressing the theme of Place & Identity. Both imagines draw symbolism from folklore and aim to bring to light the weird and beautiful traditions that define our identity. These imagines also focus of immigration and how the weird traditions are hidden in order to hide our otherness from the culture we have integrated into. My illustrations are celebrations of my heritage and all the weird traditions I never understood growing up, but ended up adoring as an adult. Published in VAINE Magazine, Issue 6.
